My mother was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother. I attribute all my success in life to the moral intellectual and physical education I received from her.
In the seventies we had to make it acceptable for people to accept girls and women as athletes. We had to make it okay for them to be active. Those were much scarier times for females in sports.
