As the true object of education is not to render the pupil the mere copy of his preceptor it is rather to be rejoiced in than lamented that various reading should lead him into new trains of thinking.
You treat a kid with respect and as an adult you talk to them as if they're smart people. But you don't throw at them the trappings of adulthood and you know the darker stuff.
