A garden requires patient labor and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfill good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them.
I like being independent. I don't think that marriage means you're not independent but right now I'm very comfortable and I'm probably the happiest I've ever been. I feel solid. I feel safe.
