Richard Hugo taught me that anyone with a desire to write an ear for language and a bit of imagination could become a writer. He also in a way gave me permission to write about northern Montana.
If you travel to the States... they have a lot of different words than like what we use. For instance: they say 'elevator' we say 'lift' they say 'drapes' we say 'curtains' they say 'president' we say 'seriously deranged git.'
