I'm often called an old-fashioned modernist. But the modernists had the absurd idea that architecture could heal the world. That's impossible. And today nobody expects architects to have these grand visions any more.
No human being is constituted to know the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth and even the best of men must be content with fragments with partial glimpses never the full fruition.
