There's a book called 'The Shack' - it had a lot to do with me coming full circle meeting my birth mother. Awhile back my birth mom and my adopted mom came to my show together and it was pretty surreal.
It has become almost a cliche to remark that nobody boasts of ignorance of literature but it is socially acceptable to boast ignorance of science and proudly claim incompetence in mathematics.
