Artists know that diligence counts as much if not more as inspiration in art as in politics patience counts as much as revolution.
People shouldn't trust artists and they shouldn't trust art. Part of the fun...
I've done an awful lot of stuff that's a monument to public patience.
Unless a reviewer has the courage to give you unqualified praise I say ignore the bastard.
