I gave up on new poetry myself 30 years ago when most of it began to read like coded messages passing between lonely aliens in a hostile world.
Americans like fat books and thin women.
I write poetry in order to live more fully.
Oh man if in real life I was as cool and suave as Coach Taylor and had all the answers things would be easier.
