I cannot speak for more than an hour exclusively about poetry. At that point life itself takes over again.
After every war someone has to tidy up.
I write poetry in order to live more fully.
To write the lives of the great in separating them from their works necessarily ends by above all stressing their pettiness because it is in their work that they have put the best of themselves.
