I don't write poetry and then strum some chords and then fit the words on top of the chords.
I don't want technology to take me so far that I don't have to use my brain...
I write poetry in order to live more fully.
I've had quite a lot of luck with dreams. I've often awoken in the night with a phrase or even a whole song in my head.
