The poem is sad because it wants to be yours and cannot be.
I don't look on poetry as closed works. I feel they're going on all the time...
I had never felt so lonely and so sad in my entire life.
The drama is complete poetry. The ode and the epic contain it only in germ it contains both of them in a state of high development and epitomizes both.
