John Currin's exaggerated realism and his twisted women kept me off balance never knowing if they were sincere or ironic or some new emotion.
Too many younger artists critics and curators are fetishizing the sixties...
I don't think balance is something you get from someone else it's something...
I want to be age appropriate. I don't want to be that girl you see walking away and she looks 25 and then she turns around and she looks 90.
