Whoever is content with the world and who profits from its lack of justice does not want to change it.
It is inhuman to continue a war which could easily be ended.
You do have to change things as warfare changes.
Science is properly more scrupulous than dogma. Dogma gives a charter to mistake but the very breath of science is a contest with mistake and must keep the conscience alive.
