Modern technology has become a total phenomenon for civilization the defining force of a new social order in which efficiency is no longer an option but a necessity imposed on all human activity.

Technology tools such as laptops are the kind of help that we need. A program that provides laptops for all youngsters would close a gap that most of us are not aware of or will not admit to which is a tremendous gap in the poor communities.

Because I do think - not just in building AOL - but just the world in which we live is a very confusing rapidly changing world where technology has accelerated.

Technology causes problems as well as solves problems. Nobody has figured out a way to ensure that as of tomorrow technology won't create problems. Technology simply means increased power which is why we have the global problems we face today.
