Oh I don't think Tom Sowell would tell anybody to join the administration. That's not his style. But I think his attitude has always been if it had to be done he'd prefer me to do it than somebody else.

I did this Super-8 film at art school called 'Tissues ' this black comedy about a family whose father has been arrested for child molestation. I was absolutely thrilled by every inch of it and would throw my projector in the back of my car and show it to anybody who would watch it.

How can anybody learn anything from an artwork when the piece of art only reflects the vanity of the artist and not reality?

I don't listen to what art critics say. I don't know anybody who needs a critic to find out what art is.

I think having land and not ruining it is the most beautiful art that anybody could ever want to own.

I think art is the only thing that's spiritual in the world. And I refuse to forced to believe in other people's interpretations of God. I don't think anybody should be. No one person can own the copyright to what God means.

You've just got to have a sense of respect for the person you have children with. Anger doesn't help anybody. Ultimately you have to say forgiveness is important and honoring what you had together is important. But it's easy to say and harder to do.

I know of no more disagreeable situation than to be left feeling generally angry without anybody in particular to be angry at.

Anybody can become angry - that is easy but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.

God bless you if you have one child but I don't think anybody should have just one child. Everybody needs a sibling. I have siblings and I have so many amazing precious memories with my siblings. I don't know what I would do if I had been an only child.

We watch a lot of Discovery Channel shows like 'The Biggest Loser' and even 'Amazing Race.' You learn a lot about the world it's fun and nobody's interested in beating anybody down. And then the opposite: I'm a huge fan of 'Survivor.'

I mean why am I considered an 'it girl?' Because I'm in a lot of movies right now or am on the covers of magazines? I just hope there is something solid behind that. Because here's the thing with 'it girl' status. It's great and amazing that anybody is saying that at all. But how long does that last?

I was passionate. I found something that I loved. I could be all alone in a big old skating rink and nobody could get near me and I didn't have to talk to anybody because of my shyness. It was great. I was in my fantasy world.

When you're surrounded by all these people it can be even lonelier than when you're by yourself. You can be in a huge crowd but if you don't feel like you can trust anybody or talk to anybody you feel like you're really alone.

I'm not alone I'm free. I no longer have to be a credit I don't have to be a symbol to anybody I don't have to be a first to anybody.

The best part about being alone is that you really don't have to answer to anybody. You do what you want.

Loneliness is my least favorite thing about life. The thing that I'm most worried about is just being alone without anybody to care for or someone who will care for me.

Anybody under the age of forty knows hip-hop gospel and R&B pretty well and it's all a part of what we consider to be 'black music.' There is a natural synergy between the three.
