First and foremost I am a commercial writer and I hope to entertain people. But having said that I'm in love with the relationship between humans and dogs and the more I learned about what our military working dogs are doing I wanted to at least share with people what an important role these animals have in all our lives.

If you're a Christian you don't sit there and worry about what somebody else is doing if they're happy and they're committed in a relationship.

I record all of my music with authentic instruments in a studio before we start editing doing many many versions. The music shapes the film as we edit so it has an organic relationship to the content.

If you're doing an interview you need conversational tension. After you talk to them you're not going to have a relationship with them they're not going to like you they're not going to be your friend.

I consider 'Dr. Horrible' a tremendous success. The fact that it won an Emmy I just think lends validity to what we were doing and the point we were trying to make: taking the power into someone else's hands and changing the world.

I like doing things where I can get dirty work with my hands and use power tools. Last weekend I did some grouting.

I've become invested with this symbolic power. It really does transcend what I'm actually doing and what I actually deserve.

O! what a Godlike Power is that of doing Good! I envy the Rich and the Great for nothing else!

Doing the right thing has power.

It's being willing to walk away that gives you strength and power - if you're willing to accept the consequences of doing what you want to do.

Liberty is not the power of doing what we like but the right to do what we ought.

I love being a wife and homemaker - because it's my choice. My husband doesn't expect me to do it. I don't mind doing things for him because he does so much for me we both feel that way so there is no power struggle.

A bad book is the worse that it cannot repent. It has not been the devil's policy to keep the masses of mankind in ignorance but finding that they will read he is doing all in his power to poison their books.

Liberty consists in the power of doing that which is permitted by the law.

To achieve you need thought. You have to know what you are doing and that's real power.

We found out tonight how important and how crucial momentum swings can be. I thought we were playing very well. We were doing a lot of positive things but then we lost the puck two times in our zone and things swung their way. You can't afford to give teams momentum.

I don't know why they're doing it. I have to assume that their motives are positive not negative. But they don't understand the severity of the problem in this state.
