Baseball's future? Bigger and bigger better and better! No question about it it's the greatest game there is!

In the light of our culture these are not unreasonable questions and tactics but if once again we try to see the lens through which we look we can see that there is far too great an emphasis placed on the future.

The discussion in Washington has changed dramatically. I mean it's no longer a question of should we address entitlements - it's no longer a question of do we need to reduce spending in the future.

If the euro zone doesn't come up with a comprehensive vision of its own future you'll have a whole range of nationalist xenophobic and extreme movements increasing across the European Union. And frankly questions about the British debate on EU membership will just be a small sideshow compared to the rise of political populism.

It's a question of whether we're going to go forward into the future or past to the back.

The question of armaments whether on land or sea is the most immediately and intensely practical question connected with the future fortunes of nations and of mankind.

The road to the future leads us smack into the wall. We simply ricochet off the alternatives that destiny offers. Our survival is no more than a question of 25 50 or perhaps 100 years.

Sometimes we have to actually say I think you're really funny but none of your jokes are going to make it on the air. So just answer my questions. Seriously.

It's funny because I did all of these interviews as soon as I had the baby and they were asking questions and I really didn't have an idea of anything because I was so blurry.

Strange questions are the more interesting ones. Children by and large don't try to trip you up... they want to find out how you do this funny thing that you do... if they've loved a story they love to know how it started.

It is easy for me to love myself but for ladies to do it is another question altogether.

Before I refuse to take your questions I have an opening statement.

I noticed that no matter where I went in the country there was this group of questions that got asked. I would track them and keep them in categories. Like body image school family friendship you name it the emotional life of a teenage girl.

Without economic development any potential for political openness and freedom will be questionable.

But it required a disastrous internecine war to bring this question of human freedom to a crisis and the process of striking the shackles from the slave was accomplished in a single hour.

What does it mean to be an American? While each of us may have our own specific answer to that question we likely can agree on the basic principles of America: freedom equal opportunity and rights accompanied by responsibilities.

The new freedom of expression brought by the Internet goes far beyond politics. People relate to each other in new ways posing questions about how we should respond to people when all that we know about them is what we have learned through a medium that permits all kinds of anonymity and deception.

I am conservative with a small 'c.' It's possible to be conservative in fiscal policy and tolerant on moral issues or questions of freedom of expression.

For us democracy is a question of human dignity. And human dignity is political freedom.

Liberals it has been said are generous with other peoples' money except when it comes to questions of national survival when they prefer to be generous with other people's freedom and security.

I would say that playing this character has caused me to think about a lot of things. He's always questioning himself and trying to get back to something he lost touch with and trying to find forgiveness. Everybody struggles with these things to some extent in their life.

But Australia faces additional regional and global challenges also crucial to our nation's future - climate change questions of energy and food security the rise of China and the rise of India. And we need a strong system of global and regional relationships and institutions to underpin stability.

Never be a food snob. Learn from everyone you meet - the fish guy at your market the lady at the local diner farmers cheese makers. Ask questions try everything and eat up!
