Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes.

This is the precept by which I have lived: Prepare for the worst expect the best and take what comes.

The best things in life are unexpected - because there were no expectations.

I do believe very much in the idea of unexpected or 'convulsive' beauty - beauty in the service of liberty.
