I started writing rhymes first and then put it to the music. I figured out I could lock it to the beat better if I heard the music first. I like to get a lot of tracks put the track up and let the music talk to me about what it's about.

Popular music formed the soundtrack of my life.

Music is the soundtrack to the crappy movie that is my life.

I'm a big collector of vinyl - I have a record room in my house - and I've always had a huge soundtrack album collection. So what I do as I'm writing a movie is go through all those songs trying to find good songs for fights or good pieces of music to layer into the film.

Making movies is just like betting on horses at the racetrack.

I've had such a great track record in making a huge profit when the movies are smaller.

As far as writing I like watching bad movies. Nothing stops me in my tracks more than watching a great film like 'The Godfather' or 'Dog Day Afternoon' or 'The Graduate.' You watch one of those and you never want to write again. Whereas with bad movies it makes you think If that counts I certainly could write.

It takes more than driving to become an IndyCar driver. Gone are the days when drivers show up Friday morning and go home Sunday night. We're all integral to our partnerships commercially motorsports. We're as much champions in the boardroom as we are on the racetrack.

I have a hotline to the tabloids. When I get up in the morning I call the Star and the last thing at night I call them. I want them to have the inside track.

Training is full-on. Some days I really don't want to get out of bed and hit that track again. Sunday and Monday morning sessions are always horrible. But who really looks forward to going to work on a Monday morning?

And my only rule being if when I wake in the morning I'm looking forward to the things that I have to do that day then I'm on the right track.

Unlike my grandfather or my brother I've actually been able to make some money at a racetrack.

My mom once lost track of me at the zoo and when she found me I was lecturing a man about the difference between dromedary and Bactrian camels. I was about 3 1/2.

I went to Duke University in the medical track. And then I decided I wanted to do something more creative so I switched to biochemistry at Nebraska.

I don't know if I believe in love at first sight but of course I believe in two people having chemistry right away. A girl should be really easy to talk to. When I lose track of time because we've been talking I think that's really fun.

I am honored that my freshman class colleagues have put their trust in me to represent our historic class at the leadership table. It's a miracle was the last track recorded for the album we based it on the rhythm from the middle of 'Late Home Tonight where there's Graham Broad playing lots and lots of drums with me shouting in the background pretending to be a mad Arab leader.
