The hedonistic lifestyle is difficult to achieve when you're still carrying your own gear. Trust me that you don't feel glamorous with a 60-pound amp in your arms it's a lot less sexy than toting a vodka gimlet and impossible to do in heels.

All I can hope to do is instill great morality in my son and trust him along the way. The music he listens to or how he chooses to wear his hair doesn't define his moral compass and if he wants to listen to country music and wear a cowboy hat too that's fine.

Trust me sunscreen is so so so important and so I always wear sunscreen but I still get really tan.

Sometimes you don't know who you can and cannot trust. I still learn that over and over again.

When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark you don't throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer.

I travel the world and I'm happy to say that America is still the great melting pot - maybe a chunky stew rather than a melting pot at this point but you know what I mean.

You have to first be a writer and somebody who loves to write. If I couldn't travel I would still write.

I wanted to be looked at for the skateboarder that I was. I didn't want to be the 36-year-old skateboarder who's still holding on while owning a company at the same time. I wanted to make my mark and travel and accomplish a few things here and there and then get out.

I like to think that if it hadn't gone as well as it has if I wasn't able to make a living off of playing music I would still be playing the music. But of course I wouldn't likely have had the opportunity to travel and a lot of the places have inspired songs.

I made 22 million in 14 years... with taxes and travel and everything else it gets blown out the window... which is why I still need to work.

Although my book is banned I am still allowed to go to China and travel. There is no longer the kind of control that Mao used to have-there have been deep fundamental changes in society.

My goal when I started out was to get to the point where I could tour a lot and make a living which means getting paid enough to hire my own band travel and end up with a bit of money but I'm still nowhere near that point. Because I didn't have a band and fan base when I started I did everything backward.

However we still have the problem of free travel and movement since the Travel Documents issued by UNMIK as the substitute to passports are not fully recognized yet by all countries.

No matter how you travel it's still you going.

I'm still at the end of my rope because I find myself not handling things well when I travel.

When I had money in the past I would always travel rather than spend it on big apartments or cars. And I still feel exactly the same way.

But you can travel on for ten thousand miles and still stay where you are.

You cannot travel within and stand still without.

If you travel to Germany it's still absolutely Germany. If you travel to Sweden it still has a Swedish identity.

I am blessed for what I have but I believed in it from the beginning. Today the dream is the same: I still want to travel I still want to entertain and I most certainly still want to have fun.

Our deeds still travel with us from afar and what we have been makes us what we are.

The most thought-provoking thing in our thought-provoking time is that we are still not thinking.

Short as life is we make it still shorter by the careless waste of time.
