When I am speaking about American presidents I have to speak about my very special relations with President Clinton. He contributed more to peace than anybody else in the American sense.
We have peace with Israel. We're actually the last man standing. So there is going to be immense pressure and people asking 'Why are we having this relationship when it's not benefiting anybody?' Obviously my answer is you always benefit from peace.
I challenge anybody to say that I wouldn't know how to approach foreign policy because unlike some of the other people I at least have a foreign policy philosophy which is an extension of the Reagan philosophy. Peace through strength and my philosophy is peace through strength and clarity.
Thus anybody who follows this nature and gives way its states will be led into quarrels and conflicts and go against the conventions and rules of society and will end up a criminal.
I don't need anybody to market or promote me. If people don't want to hear this music then it's not for them. You cannot please everybody.
It's really hard for me to sometimes put myself out there like 'Hey how do you feel about making music together?' because maybe I'm afraid of rejection or I don't want to put anybody out. It's the Southerner in me like 'I don't mean to bother you but do you mind making a song?'
I think Ray Charles did as much as anybody when he did his country music album. Ray Charles broke down borders and showed the similarities between country music and R&B.
Through literacy you can begin to see the universe. Through music you can reach anybody. Between the two there is you unstoppable.
If you look at anybody who's had along career if you look at the choices they've made - even if the movies haven't worked - they've always worked with great filmmakers.
I love all the old classic Disney movies. 'Pinocchio.' There are obviously tons of them that anybody growing up on that stuff takes with them their whole lives and I'm an admirer of a lot of classic animation and fairy tales. I grew up on a book of Grimm's fairy tales that I kind of wore out again and again. That's all stuff that lingers with you.
The movies I made when I was 14 or 15 I have a hard time looking at those. Those were the awkward years. I don't know if anybody can look at something they did when they were 14 and not wince.
I'm not sure anybody's ready to see me in a drama. And loving movies so much I've seen a lot of comics try to make that transition too fast and it can be detrimental. And I don't think I've had as much success as I need in the comedy genre to open up those opportunities.
People say you never remember anybody who dies in movies and it's true you don't. You don't even remember people who disappear.
Now if you are like me - if you are like practically anybody in America - then you probably hold some negative opinions about the French based upon movies rumors recent headlines unfortunate run-ins with Parisian waiters or... you know... all that unpleasantness surrounding the Vichy regime.
I think being self-referential is really narcissistic. Who's to say anybody's even thinking of you that much? But some of these movies that I've done people still recite lines to me even 20 years later.
It was really like waking up one morning and going Wow I enjoy being with this person more than anybody else in my life and it just turned out to be mutual.
I don't think anybody cares about unwed mothers unless they're black or poor. The question is not morality the question is money. That's what we're upset about.
If money titles meant anything I'd play more tournaments. The only thing that means a lot to me is winning. If I have more wins than anybody else and win more majors than anybody else in the same year then it's been a good year.
Anybody who thinks money will make you happy hasn't got money.
Whether it's a 16-year old girl or a mom or a guy or anybody as long as they come up and they're excited to meet me 'cause they've had some sort of relationship with something I've created it's the coolest thing ever. It never gets old. It's awesome.
You eat and sleep it all day long and play on the streets until mom calls you in. My story is no different than anybody else's.
My mom raised us three boys by herself on welfare. It's not worse than anybody else's life.
I love my mom. I totally look up to her and she just doesn't let anybody take advantage of me. People might call that a stage mom.
This is the place where anybody - like an African American kid raised by a single mom - can be president.
