There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.

I think and think for months and years. Ninety-nine times the conclusion is false. The hundredth time I am right.

Advancements in technology have become so commonplace that sometimes we forget to stop and think about how incredible it is that a girl on her laptop in Texas can see photos and cell phone video in real time that a young college student has posted of a rally he's at in Iran.

So many times these kids know more about the technology than their parents. And so many times we're putting kids in very adult situations and expecting them to behave like they're 40 years old. Well that's just not going to happen.

What I did in my youth is hundreds of times easier today. Technology breeds crime.

With all the technology we're inventing and what they're coming up with scientifically people are having longer lifetimes. It's scary but in the same sense it's also very exciting.

Technology has allowed us to have more drought-resistant crops. The spotty nature of drought the spotty nature of rains can sometimes result in better yields than anticipated.

There is an enormous market demand for information. It just has to be fulfilled in a way that fits with the technology of our times.

My painting teacher in high school used to say 'I can't paint like I want to but through practice I'll get better.' But I don't think that's true. I think sometimes you just can't paint.

I count myself well educated for the admirable woman at the head of the school which I attended from the age of four and a half till I was thirteen and a half was a born teacher in advance of her own times.

As a teacher myself I've been in situations where parents come at you and sometimes parents come across like the teacher doesn't want the best for their kid and it can be really really hurtful.

There happened to be guitar classes at the college and there was a guitar teacher there with whom I used to play. In addition I also would go out into country schools and teach little kids basic guitar and singing a few times a week.

Ask everyone whether they're an actor or a doctor or a teacher or whatever is entitled to his or her opinion. But unfortunately because actors are in the public eye whether we want it or not sometimes our opinions carry more weight or influence than they deserve.

From a very early age my wife and I told our son that there are times and places for everything. I told him look when you're in class you have to be quiet and listen to your teacher but when you go out to the playground you can scream and be silly.
