Then when I went to Iraq and saw the strength and character the men and women in our military service exhibit every day and their belief in what they're doing I knew I wanted to get that on film and share it with everyone. They are my inspiration.

The type of cuisine I do especially after being on 'Iron Chef' for several years is a lot of global cuisine. My strength has always been Mediterranean cuisine across the board from Morocco Spain Italy Greece France but I think now I'm doing a lot of very different cuisines all the time.

It is wonderful what strength of purpose and boldness and energy of will are roused by the assurance that we are doing our duty.

I love sports - if I'm not acting I'm probably doing sports.

When launching a product called an Energy Drink and named Red Bull a product that stimulates body and mind it is a short step to the roots where Red Bull came from. We have been doing this for 20 years - now it's called adventure sports extreme sports and outdoor sports.

The water cooler conversation in every job I've had is sports it's what did you do this weekend it's 'How are your parents doing?'

I always had two or three jobs at the same time. I started doing yard work when I was 7 or 8. When I was 13 I got my first state job doing road construction. Between working sports and school I hardly ever had free time.

In sports people reach their peak very early. You have to move on. I don't know if I will ever surpass what I did at the Olympics but I'm still doing the work I always wanted to do.

Julie Mia and I just met for a couple days doing some work but really under the guise of having fun. We do events like the Women's Sports Foundation Dinner where we get to not only do a good thing for the community but we get to hang out with one another again.

I'm glad you're doing this story on us and not on the WNBA. We're so much prettier than all the other women in sports.

Winning isn't everything but playing and competing and striving and going through things can be a lot of fun and really important. As long as you're doing it in a way that's healthy sports can be an incredible opportunity.

When you're a child no matter if you're doing show business or sports or school or anything you just want to make the adults happy.

Statistically and emotionally I believe that the way I can be of help to society is by doing what I know and what I've been good at.

A lot of guys and people in our society think that chicks just love dudes with money. Chicks love dudes who are successful who happen to have money - do you know what I mean? Chicks are attracted to dudes that are doing their own thing.

If you ask an economist what's driven economic growth it's been major advances in things that mattered - the mechanization of farming mass manufacturing things like that. The problem is our society is not organized around doing that.
