Each religion by the help of more or less myth which it takes more or less seriously proposes some method of fortifying the human soul and enabling it to make its peace with its destiny.

If you first fortify yourself with the true knowledge of the Universal Self and then live in the midst of wealth and worldliness surely they will in no way affect you.

All that a good government aims at... is to add no unnecessary and artificial aid to the force of its own unavoidable consequences and to abstain from fortifying and accumulating social inequality as a means of increasing political inequalities.
