You have to travel globally today to know what's going on and maintain an edge.

We need to develop and disseminate an entirely new paradigm and practice of collaboration that supersedes the traditional silos that have divided governments philanthropies and private enterprises for decades and replace it with networks of partnerships working together to create a globally prosperous society.

The Iranian regime suppresses its own people as well as others in the region. It prevents peace by sponsoring terror globally. With the ultimate weapon that it is deceptively developing the regime aims to gain hegemony over the entire Middle East and hold the world's economy hostage.

When I think about the world I would like to leave to my daughter and the grandchildren I hope to have it is a world that moves away from unequal unstable unsustainable interdependence to integrated communities - locally nationally and globally - that share the characteristics of all successful communities.

The people in charge globally are maniacs. They are maniacs and unless we do something about it these people are going to deprive us of a future.

We worry about the seemingly ever-increasing number of natural catastrophes. Yet this is mainly a consequence of CNN - we see many more but the number is roughly constant and we manage to deal much better with them over time. Globally the death rate from catastrophes has dropped about fifty-fold over the past century.

In order to effect great change we need to look at how we can help those in our own communities as well as globally.
