Pessimists are the people who have no hope for themselves or for others. Pessimists are also people who think the human race is beneath their notice that they're better than other human beings.
Traditionalists are pessimists about the future and optimists about the past.
We're living in a time when parenting is not at all mirroring the way I was parented. For me I just followed my parents around on their errands when they were busy on the phone I was quiet.
