I loved the house the way you would any new house because it is populated by your future the family of children who will fill it with noise or chaos and satisfying busy pleasures.

Iran is not a make-believe country. It is a real country populated by some 75 million people - real people including I daresay a majority who are philosophically and by education inclined toward the modern secular world and particularly American values.

It's populated by people who by and large have terrific communication skills. Every day is an extraordinary day. For me it was just a great area for storytelling.
