I would absolutely love to go back to the simplicity of the '80s where there wasn't texting social media iPhones or smartphones. I love the fact that you would go home and check your messages. I'm not well suited to the world of modern technology.

I think in a lot of romantic comedies it ends with a kiss and I feel like in modern day relationships and maybe just my own experience it starts with a kiss and then all sort of falls apart and then comes together. You're texting. You're wondering what's going on. There's no definitions there's no labels.

Also because people like to multitask in a way if you've got a bit of music on in the background and the lyrical content is making you want to listen to it then that would probably put you off the texting you wanted to do. I think people like things that just make that right kind of noise but leave your brain free to do something else.

A couple days ago I saw a lot of people tweeting 'Oh it's so cool 'Home' is being used in the Olympics!' We don't really get to watch much TV man with the concerts every night but I wish I could have seen it. I really just found out through Twitter and my management texting me. I thought it was really awesome.

Who would know but ten years ago that kids would be texting each other all the time that that would be one of their main forms of communication. And so many times these kids know more about the technology than their parents. And so many times we're putting kids in very adult situations and expecting them to behave like they're 40 years old.
