You know when Hollywood does a great big blockbuster that really wraps you up in a world and lets you believe in extraordinary things that move you in some way in an almost operatic sensibility? That to me is the most fun I have at the movies.

I know a man who doesn't pay to have his trash taken out. How does he get rid of his trash? He gift wraps it and puts in into an unlocked car.

Baseball is a game yes. It is also a business. But what is most truly is is disguised combat. For all its gentility its almost leisurely pace baseball is violence under wraps.

I have watched people who have nothing to do with the film business but who have become part of the circle for a short period of time. They can be truly devastated when the film wraps and people leave.
