Ever since the collapse of cap and trade legislation and the realization that President Obama is unlikely to ever utter the words 'climate change' in public again much less use the bully pulpit to prepare the nation for the catastrophic risks of inaction the movement has been in a funk.

Among all the tests President Obama faced in his first term his biggest failure was climate change.

Few expected very much of Franklin Roosevelt on Inauguration Day in 1933. Like Barack Obama seventy-six years later he was succeeding a failed Republican president and Americans had voted for change. What that change might be Roosevelt never clearly said probably because he himself didn't know.

Obama won the presidency on the strength of his message and the skills of the messenger. Now the talk of hope and change feels out of tune when so many Americans are out of work over-mortgaged and worried that life will be even tougher for their children.

Climate change was a point of division between Obama and Republican rival Mitt Romney. The president declared climate change a global threat acknowledged that the actions of humanity were deepening the crisis and pledged to do something about it if elected.

All non-incumbent campaigns promise hope and change but Obama took the promise to a new level of absurdity. He suggested that a vote for him would literally transform the Earth.

The challenge is not to replace Obama but with who. It's not enough to just change up the uniform if we don't change the team and the game plan we won't save our country.

I got all the respect in the world for the front-runners in this race but ask yourself: If we replace a Democratic insider with a Republican insider you think we're really going to change Washington D.C.? You don't have to settle for Washington and Wall Street insiders who supported the Wall Street bailout and the Obamacare individual mandate.

Under Barack Obama the only 'Change' is that 'Hope' has been hard to find. Now millions of Americans are insecure about their future. But instead of inspiring us by reminding us of what makes us special he divides us against each other. He tells Americans they're worse off because others are better off. That people got rich by making others poor.

Millions of young Americans have graduated from college during the Obama presidency ready to use their gifts and get moving in life. Half of them can't find the work they studied for or any work at all. So here's the question: Without a change in leadership why would the next four years be any different from the last four years?

The future is not Big Government. Self-serving politicians. Powerful bureaucrats. This has been tried tested throughout history. The result has always been disaster. President Obama your agenda is not new. It's not change and it's not hope.

Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel's. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under a McCain administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change.

Barack Obama's life was so much simpler in 2009. Back then he had refined the cold act of blaming others for the bad economy into an art form. Deficits? Blame Bush's tax cuts. Spending? Blame the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. No business investment? Blame Wall Street.

If anybody ran a business like that they would be out of business quickly and Barack Obama's leadership is driving this business the United States of America toward a fiscal cliff.

Selling public property is the true Chicago way. Had Mr. Obama not been elected president the nation's business journals would be falling over one another to praise his city for its daring market-friendly innovations.

Romney is right that the Obama vision is too centered on government. But his is too centered on the promotion of business and wealth creation at the expense of everything else.

Barack Obama doesn't believe in free enterprise. He's never going to admit it. For instance he's never going to come straight out and say 'If you own a business you didn't build it.' Alright maybe he will.

Obamacare has got everyone on edge. I mean small business - men and women or big business are sitting out there saying we have no idea what this is going to cost but we know it's going to cost us and cost us a lot.

And fifth we will champion small businesses America's engine of job growth. That means reducing taxes on business not raising them. It means simplifying and modernizing the regulations that hurt small business the most. And it means that we must rein in the skyrocketing cost of healthcare by repealing and replacing Obamacare.

You know out-of-touch liberals like Barack Obama say they want a strong economy but in everything they do they show they don't like business very much. But the economy of course is simply the product of all the businesses of the nation added together. So it's a bit like saying you like an omelet but you don't like eggs.

I don't want to tell President Obama how to make a speech. He's a much better speech maker than I am. But I think always to tell the truth in a sometimes blatant way even though it might be temporarily unpopular is the best approach.

For the last five years we have been presented with the idea that Barack Obama is superhuman. Barack Obama is unlike any of us or anyone else. And he isn't. In fact he's much less achieved and much less accomplished than most who have gotten half as far as he has and I think maybe what we saw was the best.

If you felt that excitement when you voted for Barack Obama shouldn't you feel that way now that he's President Obama? You know there's something wrong with the kind of job he's done as president when the best feeling you had was the day you voted for him.

Turkey wants a policy of engagement exactly like President Obama's new approach. Policy of engagement less confrontation less tense attitude especially in the region.
