Canadians know that the promise of a recession didn't happen because of anything we did here. If you look at all the causes of the recession problems in mortgage markets the problems in the banking sector the problems in government finance in countries like Greece none of those problems were in present Canada.

Our incomes are like our shoes if too small they gall and pinch us but if too large they cause us to stumble and to trip.
