In five years' time I'd like to be a mum. I want to settle down and have a family definitely sooner rather than later. I'd like to have finished my second album too maybe even my third. I'd like a sound that sticks around that other people are inspired by and that people know is me.
The only sensible ends of literature are first the pleasurable toil of writing second the gratification of one's family and friends and lastly the solid cash.
I say If everybody in this house lives where it's God first friends and family second and you third we won't ever have an argument.
In the Europe which was created by the Second World War divided into two blocks each in need of a revolution that would end the abuses and injustices of capitalism and the privileges of a bureaucratic caste collective faith does not exist.
Everything I am I owe to my faith and secondly to parents who were old school.
Christianity is not the faith of the complacent the comfortable or of the timid. It demands and creates heroic souls like Wesley Wilberforce Bonhoeffer John Paul the Second and Billy Graham. Each showed in their own way the relentless and powerful influence of the message of Jesus Christ.
I know acts and I'm not going to name names but these people sold ten million copies the first time and the second album sells three million and it's considered a failure and they're dropped and that's really a shame.
It has always seemed strange to me... the things we admire in men kindness and generosity openness honesty understanding and feeling are the concomitants of failure in our system. And those traits we detest sharpness greed acquisitiveness meanness egotism and self-interest are the traits of success. And while men admire the quality of the first they love the produce of the second.
Remember the two benefits of failure. First if you do fail you learn what doesn't work and second the failure gives you the opportunity to try a new approach.
Well you know the definition of second marriage is the triumph of hope over experience.
For me titles are either a natural two-second experience or stressful enough to give you an ulcer. If they don't pop out perfect on the first try they can be really hard to repair. Or worse if the author thinks they pop out perfect but the publishing house does not agree it's difficult to shift gears. And then? Then you go insane.
The spectacles of experience through them you will see clearly a second time.
I want people to think of me as a nice person. I really am so blessed. All of this has been a great experience and I thank the American public so much for putting me in this position. I appreciate every second of it.
When I was young I was just about hard work. But as I got older I did experience anxiety doubt judgment and it's so easy to lose yourself for a second.
There are three methods to gaining wisdom. The first is reflection which is the highest. The second is limitation which is the easiest. The third is experience which is the bitterest.
By three methods we may learn wisdom: First by reflection which is noblest Second by imitation which is easiest and third by experience which is the bitterest.
And secondly I would impose a significant state landfill tipping fee and use that tipping fee to fund the billion dollar bond issue that I want to create to produce the funds for all of the environmental challenges that we just went over.
Fracking is doable if there's full disclosure of all chemicals used. Secondly science dictates the policy rather than politics. Third there's collaboration between environmental groups and the natural gas industry.
Toxins love to get you while you're young. Lead mercury secondhand smoke and sundry other environmental nasties do a lot more damage when tissue is immature vulnerable and growing than when it's mature and comparatively fixed.
I've used the prestige and influence of having been a president of the United States as effectively as possible. And secondly I've still been able to carry out my commitments to peace and human rights and environmental quality and freedom and democracy and so forth.
I studied secondary education.
A postsecondary education is the ticket to economic success in America.
I was taught by my father. He was head of the primary school so I went to his school until I was 11 - I was the youngest of four daughters and we had all been taught by him. But I didn't really enjoy my secondary education that much probably because I am a very physical person and don't enjoy sitting at a desk all day.
But I didn't really enjoy my secondary education that much probably because I am a very physical person and don't enjoy sitting at a desk all day. I just dragged myself through GCSE and A Levels so it suited me very much to go on to drama school which was very active.
Well I've been reading a lot about the fifty years since the Second World War about Western foreign policy and all that. I try not to let it get to me but sometimes I just think that there's no hope.
