Come Christmas Eve we usually go to my mom and dad's. Everybody brings one gift and then we play that game when we all steal it from each other. Some are really cool others are useful and some are a bit out there.

For the last few years it's been so chic for everybody to be miserable. Like if you're in with the cool crowd you can't be happy.

There aren't many poster children for cool angst. Everybody thinks it's cool if you're the bad girl.

I think it's so cool to be tall. Even when I'm not wearing heels people tell me I'm tall and I always take it as a complement. The good thing is I can always see everybody in the room.

So there's nothing more provocative than taking a genre that everybody who's cool hates - and then making it cool.

Most of the musicians that I know almost to the man everybody uses Apple computers. They've thought of the steps that you're going to think of when you're trying to create your thing. And that's where the tools get invented to make better art.

There is no roles. No one is keeping any roles. The drummer is also answering everybody and everything. So it is a constant conversation and communication between musicians on an extremely high level with extremely valuable material motifs and melodies.

And once you get instantaneous communication with everybody you have economic activity that's far more advanced far more liquid far more distributed than ever before.

I am going to get political on you. Because I am the most shallow person in the world my mission is to see men's formal wear change a little bit. It is too rigid! Everybody looks like a penguin!

You know who is against democracy in the Middle East? The husbands. They got used to their way of life. Now the traditional way of life must change. Everybody must change. If you don't give equal rights to women you can't progress.

To be in a situation where you have no rights whatsoever is something I wish everybody could experience. People's attitudes would change. It would be a better place.

As far as I'm aware everybody in the shadow cabinet accepts that there's a compelling case on climate change and a strong scientific case.

I'm a typical middle child. I'm the mediator. The one that makes everything OK puts their own needs aside to make sure everybody's happy. It's hard to change your nature even with years and years of therapy.

The '80s made up for all the abuse I took during the '70s. I outlived all my critics. By the time I retired everybody saw me as a venerable institution. Things do change.

Everybody talks about wanting to change things and help and fix but ultimately all you can do is fix yourself. And that's a lot. Because if you can fix yourself it has a ripple effect.

I want to change things for the better just like everybody else.

A car to pick me up every day a chair with my name on it everybody being very polite... what can you do except sit back and watch it all try to take it all in?

Well you go to Holland and everybody's on a bike - nobody would think to have a car.

I remember my wife and I used to get on plane and see everybody else with their babies. They'd be putting strollers and car seats up above and we'd think: Oh please Lord don't make us go through that.

I think like everybody else in New Hampshire when I pull up to fill up my car and I pay $50 I get upset. And I'm wondering if these prices are legitimate.

In 1950 when the Giants signed me they gave me $15 000. I bought a 1950 Mercury. I couldn't drive but I had it in the parking lot there and everybody that could drive would drive the car. So it was like a community thing.

Everybody has a gun in their car in Detroit.

Sometimes I feel like I'm not only the engine but the caboose. I have to be in the front car and pull forward and at the same time run around behind and push everybody along with me.

I think women like Ferraris. A Ferrari is everybody's car.
