There's intense national feeling in America that could be called patriotism.

Most Italians who came to this country are very patriotic. There was this exciting possibility that if you worked real hard and you loved something you could become successful.

Sometimes they are a matter of luck the photographer could not expect or hope for them. Sometimes they are a matter of patience waiting for an effect to be repeated that he has seen and lost or for one that he anticipates.

I wish I was a shredder that could play everything but I don't have the patience.

Very much like that and very much a loner do you know and I didn't fit really into sport or all kind of group activities as a kid I couldn't find a niche. And music was not really part of the kind of village curriculum it would you know.

I'm into bands that have both aspects like Boards of Canada is a perfect example. You could listen to that type of music running through a woods. It's kind of what I wanted to achieve.

It had never occurred to me before that music and thinking are so much alike. In fact you could say music is another way of thinking or maybe thinking is another kind of music.
