I'm not happy all the time and I wouldn't want to be because that would make me a shallow person. But I do try to find the good in everybody.

The stories that I want to tell especially as a director don't necessarily have a perfect ending because the older you get the more you appreciate a good day versus a happy ending. You understand that life continues on the next day the reality of things is what happens tomorrow.

As a real person he wouldn't last a minute would he? But drama is about imperfection. And we've moved away from the aspirational hero. We got tired of it it was dull. If I was House's friend I would hate it. How he so resolutely refuses to be happy or take the kind-hearted road. But we don't always like morally good people do we?

Now and then it's good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.

Wisdom allows nothing to be good that will not be so forever no man to be happy but he that needs no other happiness than what he has within himself no man to be great or powerful that is not master of himself.

You know when something feels so good but you're afraid to feel good about it? So you kinda hold back? Everyone says Congratulations you must be so happy. And you say something stupid like I'm just doing what little I can with what little I have.

My New Year's resolution is to stick to a good workout plan that will keep me healthy and happy.

Dedicate yourself to the good you deserve and desire for yourself. Give yourself peace of mind. You deserve to be happy. You deserve delight.

There is an idea abroad among moral people that they should make their neighbors good. One person I have to make good: Myself. But my duty to my neighbor is much more nearly expressed by saying that I have to make him happy if I may.

If only we'd stop trying to be happy we'd have a pretty good time.

My advice to you is get married: if you find a good wife you'll be happy if not you'll become a philosopher.

I really am pretty happy with what God gave me.

My hobby is gardening I love it it's my main hobby. I like being at home and I'm very happy being in my house I love cooking.

I've found that when the market's going down and you buy funds wisely at some point in the future you will be happy. You won't get there by reading 'Now is the time to buy.'

My purpose... to go on with my heart and soul devoting all my energies to Girl Scouts and heart and hand with them we will make our lives and the lives of the future girls happy healthy and holy.

I'm happy I'm in a good place I'm looking forward to my future.

I know why I am here and my only real focused goal is to live each day to the fullest and to try and honor God and be an encouragement to others. What the future holds is firmly in God's hands and I am very happy about that!

The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the past better than it was the present worse than it is and the future less resolved than it will be.

Happy is the person who knows what to remember of the past what to enjoy in the present and what to plan for in the future.
