Frankly I don't mind not being President. I just mind that someone else is.

Frankly writing poetry for children is plain old fun and I consider myself blessed to have such a delightful career.

But one does not make living writing poetry unless you're a professor and one frankly doesn't get a lot of girls as a poet.

It is jazz music that called me to be a musician and I have always sang the songs that moved me the most. Singers like Frank Sinatra and myself we interpret the songs that we like. Not unlike a Shakespearean actor that goes back to the greatest words ever written we go back to the greatest songs.

Frank is such a great visual storyteller that if you study his artwork you see that his Sin City books are already the best movies never seen on the big screen.

Frankly I got into the movies because I like the movies a lot.

I mean Dodd-Frank is strangling small community banks. It doesn't make any difference what the interest rate is. They're not - they're not going to loan the money because they can't make any money for one thing plus the cost of compliance.

Ben Franklin may have discovered electricity- but it is the man who invented the meter who made the money.

Aretha Franklin was a teenage mom a musician who came from an incredibly Christian background but there was a lot of love which is really inspiring in a feminist way.

Quite frankly Barack Obama knows what it's like to pay a mortgage and student loans. He knows what it's like to watch a beloved family member in a medical crisis and worry that treatment is out of reach. Barack Obama knows our struggles. And my friends he shares our values.

It's hard for women to talk about these things and for the doctors to really talk about it too and to even have the knowledge of what's going on. That's why I'm doing this and urging women to speak out and talk to their doctors frankly.

It is remarkable how many misconceptions there are here about life in the developing world and I think that that knowledge gap has done a lot to contribute to the imbalance quite frankly.

I've always wanted to be a spy and frankly I'm a little surprised that British intelligence has never approached me.

In Europe they call geeks 'smart people ' and frankly I think we live in a culture that doesn't value intelligence enough so I am very proud in saying that I am a geek.

While it is true that Frank had a great sense of humor he was also very serious about composing music. In reality there are only a handful of skilled players who can play his most complex pieces. It takes a lot of patience to learn and requires a fantastic memory.

Conservative humor is frankly harder than liberal humor. You get points for just being liberal. You can get more points if you make fun of your own side sometimes.

One of my pet peeves is that sometimes the talents of my band get overlooked because and it was the same problem that Frank Zappa had with a lot of groups that use humor people don't realize there's a lot of craft behind the comedy.

I don't want to go negative on Franklin Delano Roosevelt but he didn't pass an economic deal in the first 100 days. We have passed the largest Recovery Act in the history of the country.

You know there are people making a lot of money in this country who can actually afford their own health care. We are in a situation where we got a safety net in place in this country for people who frankly don't need one. We got to focus on making sure we got a safety net for those who actually need it.

Adoptive parents are taking on enormous responsibility both emotionally and financially. Quite frankly they need as much disclosure as possible about the child's background and health to assure the best fit and be prepared.

My biography of Frank Sinatra is not paean to his music but rather an illumination of the man behind the music who once described himself as 'an 18-karat manic-depressive who lived a life of violent emotional contradictions with an over-acute capacity for sadness as well as happiness.'

I do have my ducks in line if I want to do it but I'd love to see the Republicans pick somebody that was going to win and take over this country and frankly to use the expression 'Make America great again.'
