You put high heels on and you change.

Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can't ride you unless your back is bent.

If I had done what I was programmed to do I would now be sitting in a car factory looking at the sizes of wheels or wondering how to get credit to start a new factory in Russia.

Of course I'm older now. I'm in a different place in my life than when I wrote the songs for 'Car Wheels' or 'Essence' or whatever. Different things were going on.

Just as your car runs more smoothly and requires less energy to go faster and farther when the wheels are in perfect alignment you perform better when your thoughts feelings emotions goals and values are in balance.

I think there are a lot of technocrats in the business who would much rather work with just wheels and gears and machinery. Those things interest them more than humanity and I wish them the best of luck.

I wore my first pair of Louboutins during this press tour. It was absolutely amazing they weren't heels they were little shoes but they were velvet and they were blue.

Sometimes when I'm alone I put on six inch heels and wear nothing else and dance around in front of the mirror and do my little stripper dance.
