Come forward as servants of Islam organise the people economically socially educationally and politically and I am sure that you will be a power that will be accepted by everybody.

In the long term the United States could greatly benefit Islam by uniquely freeing the religion from government constraints and permitting it to evolve in a positive modern direction. But that's the long term.

The President in talking about freedom and democracy is sparking a wave of very positive democratic sentiment that might help us override both Islamic fundamentalism that has formed in that region and also some of the hatred for our policies of invading Iraq.
