I think they need to get a more reliable way of watching television on the laptop. Because I travel so much if I want to watch my favorite sports team it might not be showing in that place so I want a reliable way to watch whatever I want to watch on my laptop.

I don't watch a lot of television. Sports and news that's it.

Television is just one more facet of that considerable segment of our society that never had any standard but the soft buck.

I don't remember ever deciding to become a performer. I just always was. I began performing by mimicking the performers on the new television that first took the attention away from me as the baby of the household. I continued performing to put a smile on my grandmother's face and always considered her when accepting or declining roles.

Millions of people were inspired by the Apollo Program. I was five years old when I watched Apollo 11 unfold on television and without any doubt it was a big contributor to my passions for science engineering and exploration.

I think it's sad that movies and television have caused the theatre to fade as a popular art form. I hope to get young people into the theatre and expose them to Shakespeare.

I've met so many fans of daytime television who've watched the shows with their moms and grandmas and feel like they've known the characters their whole lives. It's sad for them to have to say goodbye to their favorite soaps and characters. We don't want that to happen to the 'Days' fans.

And they like being able to turn on the television day in and day out to see someone that they know and they feel comfortable with and trust hopefully and respect even.

Well I had an immense respect for Cirque du Soleil when I first say them in the '80s on a television show and just thought you know this group is really reinventing the circus as you know. Because there wasn't three rings. There were no animals.

You can't tell your kids to read if you're just watching television. They have to see you read. And in that respect I think it's important to walk the walk. It's a wonderful shared time.

I think all television has to be about relationships and I don't think horror for the sake of it can work unless you're able to ground it in some kind of relationship.

Television is much better crafted today then in the 70s. The content is less positive but I'm one of those that feel our entertainment reflects our world it's not a driver - art imitates life.

More Asians need to be on television as a positive role model.

Look at the declining television coverage. Look at the declining voting rate. Economics and economic news is what moves the country now not politics.

I understand the process of politics and the game of television.

I guess probably in my time in politics it continued to be affirmed to me that the African-American community despite being subscription television's most valuable customers they are very underserved by cable and satellite television programming options.
