When you think about it we actors are kind of prostitutes. We get paid to feign attraction and love. Other people are paying to watch us kissing someone touching someone doing things people in a normal monogamous relationship would never do with anyone who's not their partner. It's really kind of gross.

I don't feel particularly comfortable about actors using whatever power they may have to push their beliefs unless they're extremely well informed.

I think actors are getting so much more power these days but I'm not. I stay very much away from the decisions the way in which things are orchestrated what's been changed. I just try to stay completely in the role as the actor and as the character.

You should never ask actors about politics.

Actors are steeped in a world of agents and where the next job is coming from and what are their expenses and what is the hotel like. You want to take them out of that world and dump them into another world so that when you meet them on the screen they don't seem like the guy who was in two others movies that year.

Well Mom and Dad are both actors and I've spent a lot of time watching my mom on stage and a lot of time on set with my dad so it was very much a part of my growing up.
