Everything that ever happened is still happening. Past present and future keep happening in the eternity which is Here and Now.

Kids feel so strongly about what's going on today and what's happening to the world and that's very inspiring. I feel more hopeful than ever before about the future.

People talk about doom-laden scenarios happening in the future: they are happening in Africa now. You can see it perfectly clearly. Periodic famines are due to too many people living on land that can't sustain them.

You know what's funny? I don't ever feel the need to escape. I have a strong marriage. I like my life. You hear about these guys having midlife crises - I don't see that happening to me.

Everything is funny as long as it's happening to somebody else.

That freedom can never be attained by a nation without suffering and sacrifice has been amply borne out by the recent tragic happenings in this subcontinent.

But having said that what's happening with campaign finance reform and our political culture is devastating.

There is no city or country in the world where women and girls live free of the fear of violence. No leader can claim: 'this is not happening in my backyard.'

I was kind of surprised to learn how controlling I am. I never thought of myself in that way. I think the root of the control issues is usually fear because you want to know what's going to be happening at any given moment.

Climate change is happening humans are causing it and I think this is perhaps the most serious environmental issue facing us.

The question is will we continue to fight what may be a rearguard action to defend universal literacy as a central goal of our education system or are we bold enough to see what's actually happening to our culture?

We all have a responsibility to volunteer somewhere and I'm lucky that I get the education and get taken to places to see what's out there and see what's happening and to then be a part of it in hopefully an impactful way.

I'm very at ease and I like it. I never thought I would be such a family-oriented guy I didn't think that was part of my makeup. But somebody said that as you get older you become the person you always should have been and I feel that's happening to me. I'm rather surprised at who I am because I'm actually like my dad!

I like to give dimension to shots inside action scenes. It's demanding because you have to rehearse a lot of things happening at the same time and frame all those things in a shot. But I feel like when you accomplish that then you've got a cool action scene.

It's cool just because I've had this dream of changing the sport of swimming and it's finally happening.

From year to year environmental changes are incremental and often barely register in our lives but from evolutionary or geological perspectives what is happening is explosive change.

There is no question that climate change is happening the only arguable point is what part humans are playing in it.

From 1997 when we came in you guys and the public bought seven million more cars. You didn't get rid of the second car did you? So what is happening is the growth of cars on the motorway.
