After reading Eminem's autobiography which I did because I'm so interested in him as an artist I respect him a lot. Even though he seems angry and mad he's had to fight so many demons in his life.

More than in any other performing arts the lack of respect for acting seems to spring from the fact that every layman considers himself a valid critic.

In Europe art has to a large degree taken the place of religion. In America it seems rather to be science.

It's a bit odd that nobody seems to be using the correct technical term to describe organized Islamic terrorists. They are not a faction of a religion or a social movement. They are a cult. A suicide cult.

It was a real surprise to me to come across the evidence that Christianity might once have been a danced religion. Certainly some of the early church leaders thought this was great and spoke of what seems to have been circle dancing perhaps around an altar.

All religion seems to need to prove that it's the only truth. And that's where it turns demonic. Because that's when you get religious wars and persecutions and burning heretics at the stake.

The relationship with a live audience seems to me to count for more.

Even though money seems such an objective topic it can also be the most intimate and possibly harmful part of a relationship.

Nobody ever seems to want my advice about serious stuff. People will be like: 'Who made that sweater?' Or 'How did you get your hair so straight?' They don't to come to me for the relationship advice or deep stuff. In fact my little sister actually hides from me.

It seems I have a hard time being attracted to someone unless I respect what they do on some level. Otherwise I would feel disdain for them. Which is not always pleasant in a relationship. Sometimes it's fun though.

With public figures involved in a relationship it seems that there is a machine behind their love so oftentimes.

There is much to dislike about President Obama's approach to the financial crisis. But opposition it seems will have to come from somewhere other than conservatism. The party out of power is also a party out of touch.

It seems to me the Washington Monument is a symbol of America's power. It has been the symbol of our great nation. We look at the symbol and we say 'this is one nation under God.'

It is remarkable by how much a pinch of malice enhances the penetrating power of an idea or an opinion. Our ears it seems are wonderfully attuned to sneers and evil reports about our fellow men.

There is something about inside information which seems to paralyse a man's reasoning powers.

So we have choice and sometimes it seems very hard but the best way to heal physically or emotionally is to keep positive.

Since I can barely write two books a year the best solution seems to be co-author projects. My goal isn't to get another writer to clone me... it's more to produce a book that shares my vision of positive fun entertainment.

I'm positive and I smile a lot and I'm kind of a banana but serious work just seems to find me so I'm not going to argue with it.

A lot of victims for example have become addicted to alcohol and drugs. It seems to me that the church's healing ministry is going to be enhanced through this in much broader strokes. That's good it's all positive.

To emphasize only the beautiful seems to me to be like a mathematical system that only concerns itself with positive numbers.

In politics it seems retreat is honorable if dictated by military considerations and shameful if even suggested for ethical reasons.

It seems to be the thing now that young people are getting back into politics.
