I intend to fight and I want to win. But my priorities are basically to be a good Brother and a strong one and to try to be a good father one day.

In a time of tight budgets difficult choices have to be made. We must make sure our very limited resources are spent on priorities. I believe we should have no higher priority than investing in our children's classrooms and in their future.

This president has said this has to be a priority for our nation protecting our food supply from terrorist acts so he continues to provide the funding that is necessary.

My priority is to turn people - especially kids - on to sports and being active so they don't even have to think about it being good for their health. If people participate for the fun of it and believe me - it is fun then fitness programs will be much more successful.

As a father my first priority is to help my sons set and attain personal goals so they will develop self-confidence and individual strength. Engaging in regular fitness activities with my children helps me fulfill those responsibilities.

You must also give mental and physical fitness priority.

Well first let me say that I think health care reform is important. It has to be a priority. And our system is broken. The Finance Committee bill is the best effort yet due in large measure to the efforts of my colleague Olympia Snowe but it's not there yet. It falls short.

We had an interesting thing at that first dinner. It was prior to the availability of several new hotels in Los Angeles and we were more or less committed to the old Ambassador Hotel that has the famous Coconut Grove.

No matter how famous and established they were or however blessed they were with great songs or long careers if they lived alone they lived alone. That's not the way I wanted to live prior to the tour or after.

I feel my family's needs are a priority. I'm not comfortable with the idea of serving the many and ignoring my family.

In my family in the days prior to television we liked to while away the evenings by making ourselves miserable solely based on our ability to speak the language viciously.

Sometimes you can't prioritise family and you feel guilty.

My priorities are always going to be my husband and my family now. That's a huge huge thing.

Soon we saw that money going to women brought much more benefit to the family than money going to the men. So we changed our policy and gave a high priority to women. As a result now 96% of our four million borrowers in Grameen Bank are women.

I had to learn my faith and look after my family and I had to make priorities. But now I've done it all and there's a little space for me to fill in the universe of music again.

Quality is a direct experience independent of and prior to intellectual abstractions.

That's not to say that women's priorities are better than men's. Rather when women are empowered when they can speak from the experience of their own lives they often address different previously neglected issues. And families and whole communities benefit.

I've always been a strong supporter of environmental protection and initiatives in that area. But I'm willing to set priorities. If we have to make reductions in one place we'll have to-in order to increase another place I'm willing to do that.

Beyond reducing individual use one of our top priorities must be to move from fossil fuels to energy that has fewer detrimental effects on water supplies and fewer environmental impacts overall.

I think the government has to reposition environment on top of their national and international priorities.

I feel like in America we don't have a kid problem. You think about all these issues that these kids are dealing with we have an adult problem. We have adults that do not place the priority on our kids to get a valuable education.

I have said it on several occasions several times from this podium that providing a quality education for our children is high on my priority list. I will not stop now.

In my family there was one cardinal priority - education. College was not an option it was mandatory. So even though we didn't have a lot of money we made it work. I signed up for financial aid Pell Grants work study anything I could.

Education should be one of our top funding priorities talking about it does not help the teachers and students who desperately need promises fulfilled.
