There certainly is no secret in that there are plenty of people who don't like plenty of my movies. Each one of my films is personal each one of my films is emotionally autobiographical. And I like directors who do that. With each one of my films I'm exploring one of my own issues and I try to expose myself a little in the film.

We all deal with issues of time. The first thing you do in the morning is look at the clock to see what time it is.

I'd always been a news junkie always read lots of newspapers and watched the Sunday morning news shows on TV and felt strongly about issues of power control sexuality and race.

For a successful entrepreneur it can mean extreme wealth. But with extreme wealth comes extreme responsibility. And the responsibility for me is to invest in creating new businesses create jobs employ people and to put money aside to tackle issues where we can make a difference.

I know that campaigns can seem small and even silly. Trivial things become big distractions. Serious issues become sound bites. And the truth gets buried under an avalanche of money and advertising. If you're sick of hearing me approve this message believe me - so am I.

My mom and I have always had issues.

When you're adopted no matter what you've got issues with unconditional love. And you find out you're the product of the worst situation for a young girl to be in and start her life and I'm so grateful that my birth mom made the decision she made. She came from a rough situation.

I've actually suffered from allergies my entire life. My mom had allergies so I was aware of what an issue they can be. Many people allow their allergies to affect their lives. As a mom with two kids and two jobs I just can't let allergies slow me down. It's a day to day thing that can really be remedied by finding the right medication.

Eating disorders can have serious medical and psychological consequences which left unchecked can kill. Parents should address this issue and ask their children to discuss how they feel about themselves.

When I was a child I was unable to go to any type of sleepaway summer camp because of health issues. Once I learned about the Lopez Foundation I knew I wanted to get involved send kids with kidney disease away to camp so they can still experience overnight camp with medical needs at hand.

Most medical physicists work in the physics of radiation oncology making sure that the desired dose is given to the cancer and the dose to normal tissues are minimized.

Corporate governance is a huge issue too. We don't have women on these corporate boards. More than half of the students in law school are women more than half of the women I think in medical school now are women.

Medical liability reform is not a Republican or Democrat issue or even a doctor versus lawyer issue. It is a patient issue.

Religious institutions should have religious freedom on this issue. No church or minister should ever have to conduct a marriage that is inconsistent with their religious beliefs. But I think as a civil institution this issue's time has come and we need to move forward.

Gay marriage won't be more of an issue 25 years from now than interracial marriage is today.

But the fact that same-sex marriage is still an issue is insane. Thinking love knows a sex is ridiculous.

I've always wanted to be independent and answer for myself. That probably is the part of me I would class to be feminist. I'd like to have children marriage I have a bit of an issue with.

Clearly if it is sensible to hold a referendum on independence it is crucial that we have one on marriage. It is the only way the country can move forward on this issue. Let all those who have a view on this subject place their trust in the Scottish people and let Scotland decide.

Second marriage is an issue that our Founding Fathers wisely left to the states.

Gay marriage has jumped out of the closet on to the front page. Everyone from the president of the U.S. to retired four-star general Colin Powell is embracing the issue now supported by most Americans. Still a few people like former First Lady Laura Bush appear to be conflicted.

I think it's best if there's an amendment that goes on the ballot where the people can weigh in. Every time this issue has gone on the ballot the people have voted to retain the traditional definition of marriage as recently as California in 2008.

The way that same-sex marriage should reach the federal level is that it absolutely should be decided by the Supreme Court as quickly as possible. It's a 14th Amendment issue. There's no argument about it.

Marriage is a religious and state issue.

Those who condemn gay marriage yet are silent or indifferent to the breakdown of marriage and divorce are in my view missing the real issue.
