I couldn't be in a relationship and behave like somebody else or pretend I felt something I didn't feel. And that includes saying things I thought might jeopardize the relationship.

Anyone working for a big company might be skeptical that a large business or even a strictly online business can form the same kind of friendly loyal relationship with customers as a local retailer. I'm saying it's already been done because I lived it.

But I think the real tension lies in the relationship between what you might call the pursuer and his quarry whether it's the writer or the spy.

If the Holy Spirit can take over the subconscious with our consent and cooperation then we have almighty Power working at the basis of our lives then we can do anything we ought to do go anywhere we ought to go and be anything we ought to be.

The spread of civilisation may be likened to a fire first a feeble spark next a flickering flame then a mighty blaze ever increasing in speed and power.

We have also arranged things so that almost no one understands science and technology. This is a prescription for disaster. We might get away with it for a while but sooner or later this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces.

Never go backward. Attempt and do it with all your might. Determination is power.

One of the really positive things about minority government is that there is the necessity to broker policy positions. What happens is you get a hybrid of what a single party might do. And I don't think that is a bad thing.

The real metric of success isn't the size of your bank account. It's the number of lives in whom you might be able to make a positive difference.

The President in talking about freedom and democracy is sparking a wave of very positive democratic sentiment that might help us override both Islamic fundamentalism that has formed in that region and also some of the hatred for our policies of invading Iraq.

Gay culture is surviving and thriving. Some activists believe the recent rise in homophobic violence might be a gauge of the success of positive gay images.

You might think the thinner version of yourself is going to be the most positive or confident but that's not how it is for me. When I'm over 200 pounds that's when I'm the most confident version of myself.

Of course a positive growth rate might be taken as evidence that a population is below its optimum.

I mean the part you don't like I mean that's the only part. That's the part no one likes and that is the criticisms and the unfair criticisms I might add of my husband. But that's also just a fact of life in politics.

Would that the simple maxim that honesty is the best policy might be laid to heart that a sense of the true aim of life might elevate the tone of politics and trade till public and private honor become identical.

It's a good question because a movie isn't good or bad based on its politics. It's usually good or bad for other reasons though you might agree or disagree with its politics.

Whatever your supposed politics are - left right - if you put it in a human connection most people will rise to the occasion and feel the human pain in a way that they might not if it was presented in a more conceptual way.

Like Indiana Jones I don't like snakes - though that might lead some to ask why I'm in politics.
