Tourists don't know where they've been travelers don't know where they're going.

Time goes on. So whatever you're going to do do it. Do it now. Don't wait.

A pain stabbed my heart as it did every time I saw a girl I loved who was going the opposite direction in this too-big world.

Because when you have millions of people with this kind of need for gratification and the culture is saying that it's possible for everyone to satisfy all of their needs and desires all of the time there are obviously going to be clashes - clashes of ego.

I'm convinced that the man who has learned to meditate upon the Lord will be able to run on his feet and walk in his spirit. Although he may be hurried by his vocation that's not the issue. The issue is how fast his spirit is going. To slow it down takes a period of time.

If you look - look at - I mean look at what's going on with your gasoline prices. They're going to go to $5 $6 $7 and we don't have anybody in Washington that calls OPEC and says 'Fellas it's time. It's over. You're not going to do it anymore.'

I think every entertainer's had nights when things go wrong. I mean you can't remember everything all the time and especially if you're having hard times personally things going on that you - you know and then people make it worse. And that makes you feel worse.

My father wasn't around when I was a kid and I used to always say 'Why me? Why don't I have a father? Why isn't he around? Why did he leave my mother?' But as I got older I looked deeper and thought 'I don't know what my father was going through but if he was around all the time would I be who I am today?'

We shall never have more time. We have and always had all the time there is. No object is served in waiting until next week or even until tomorrow. Keep going... Concentrate on something useful.

I am shocked at how much time I spend in the White House. I mean you know for people on the outside the idea of going to the White House for a meeting must seem like the most important serious even glamorous kind of thing to do.

I'm not interested in trying to work on people's perceptions. I am who I am and if you don't take the time to learn about that then your perception is going to be your problem.

Once again we come to the Holiday Season a deeply religious time that each of us observes in his own way by going to the mall of his choice.

And I think it's that time. And I think if you just step aside and Mr. Romney can kind of take over. You can maybe still use a plane. Though maybe a smaller one. Not that big gas guzzler you are going around to colleges and talking about student loans and stuff like that.

Most people spend more time and energy going around problems than in trying to solve them.

When I am getting ready to reason with a man I spend one-third of my time thinking about myself and what I am going to say and two-thirds about him and what he is going to say.

There's a lot of women in the WNBA. There's a lot of women who could be here. To be voted by the fans says a lot - that people are aware of what's going on. I'm really thankful. I think they just really appreciate my talent so I'm definitely grateful.

I love going to Africa and stuff. I love going anywhere really but I've been to Africa a bunch of times and it's just a beautiful place that needs help obviously but helping people that are really thankful is really easy to do. And the people out there always seem so thankful.

I'm thankful that my memory is good because my vision is going.

I get along very well with the cast of '30 Rock.' I guess I bring a certain quirkiness to the show as well. I'm just thankful they keep asking me. I didn't think I was going to be asked back so every time they say 'We want you back ' I'm screaming. I'm jumping up and down and screaming.

I want to let my fans get to know a little about me. I'm very thankful for everything they've done for me so of course I'm going to let them into my world a bit. But I really am a very private person and I love kepping my life to myself - that's how I've always been.

If a fellow isn't thankful for what he's got he isn't likely to be thankful for what he's going to get.

I'm really looking forward to the Hall of Fame ceremonies. It's going to be unbelievable - just crazy. I'm looking forward to thanking all the fans for inspiring me to go out there and play my best football each and every game.

I am going to spend my time today just thanking the people that played a role in my career because I truly do believe that I was blessed by a lot of people that paths crossed mine as I went down the road in my career.
