I've always chosen my band members based on their sense of humor. It might sound stupid but it means not only are they fun to live with on a tour bus for years but humor implies intelligence.

I don't think I would describe my sense of humor. Doesn't sound like the kind of thing I'd do.

You don't know what someone's going to walk away from a movie with but you hope it's something positive but if nothing you want them most basically to be entertained and engaged. That's your job. But you also hope to give them something to chew on or maybe some insight into the human existence you hope a little bit. Not to sound too lofty.

We love a good hyped sound but when it starts to sound insincere that's when I lose interest. I hope that our music even if it sounds polished doesn't sound insincere.

I hope to make a positive productive contribution as cheesy as that may sound.
