I don't like Paris so much and it's only eight shows. I mean don't tell them that of course. But everyone always thinks they're so important. And I'm sure they are. But to me my happiness is more important.

Alas! if the principles of contentment are not within us the height of station and worldly grandeur will as soon add a cubit to a man's stature as to his happiness.

Happiness makes up in height for what it lacks in length.

I'm not driven to get back into politics. It's not on my top five things to do before I die but saying that I may be in politics in the next year or the next ten years. I've been on the front line for 12 years four in state government eight on the national level.

But without a caring society without each citizen voluntarily accepting the weight of responsibility government is destined to grow even larger taking more of your money burrowing deeper into your lives.

Ninety eight percent of the adults in this country are decent hardworking honest Americans. It's the other lousy two percent that get all the publicity. But then we elected them.

The first requisite of a good citizen in this republic of ours is that he shall be able and willing to pull his own weight.

What is good? All that heightens the feeling of power the will to power power itself in man.

And of course Marc Cherry heightens it and makes it hilarious. But there's so many universal themes in the show and he made it so funny. We knew he was onto something if he could keep it up and thankfully he did.

Now that I'm more mature in a funny way I can even appreciate that I've bad to become more aware of my body. Since I've chosen acting as my career I have to keep my weight down anyway-I've been used to it for years so it's no problem. And there's nothing I can't do.

Ninety-eight per cent of laughter is nothing to do with jokes which do not deserve to bear the weight of all the funny stuff in the world.

It used to be that you had to make female TV characters perfect so no one would be offended by your 'portrayal' of women. Even when I started out on 'The Office' eight years ago we could write our male characters funny and flawed but not the women. And now thankfully it's completely different.

A lot of people are afraid of heights. Not me I'm afraid of widths.

All my life Americans have been accustomed to thinking of theirs as 'the richest freest' country in the world. By most measurements it was long a contender for that honor and - among the larger countries if equal weight were given to wealth and indices of freedom - probably did deserve to be so described.
